Gallant Little Wales: The Welsh Hospital for South Africa

The hitherto untold story of a civilian tented hospital, raised by public subscription in Wales. It traveled to South Africa in 1900 and delivered the best contemporary medical and nursing care to the sick and wounded in the Boer War, establishing standards for the development of military medicine.
